Tire pressure gauges do not read the absolute pressure, but the absolute pressure is what must be used when applying the ideal gas law.
If the gauge says 2.2 atm, the actual absolute pressure is 3.2 atm. The absolute pressure at the higher temperature is then
(323/298)*3.2 = 3.47 atm. The new gauge pressure will be 2.47 atm.
If they say the answer is (323/298)*2.2 = 2.38 atm, they are wrong.
