How would I figure out this math problem? (a video game was $49.95. The price dropped to $45.50. what was the percent of decrease.)

ratio problem

49.95-45.50 = 4.45

4.45/49.95 = x/100

so
49.95x=(4.45*100)

x = (4.45*100)/49.95

You should be able to do the rest
