if you can take 4 exams scheduled out of 10 possible times, how many ways can you be scheduled?
Your first exam can be in 10 different time slots,
your second in 9 time slots, etc
so number of possible schedules = 10x9x8x7 = 5040
I assumed that the order you are taken the exams does matter.
