Is the denominator 77z or 77?
77z
Look at the first fraction 12/11
Find the denominator which is 11
Find denominator of second fraction which is 77
What do you multiply 11 by to get 77?
You multiply 11 by 7 to get 77
Whatever you do to the denominator you do do the numerator.
So 12*7 = 84
Equivalent fraction of 12/11 = 84/77
To check your answer divide 12 by 11 and 84 by 77, you should get the same answer.
