the ratio of juniors to seniors is 9 to 8, if there are 51 juniors and seniors total, which percent of students are seniors?

how do i figure this out?!

We don't even need the 51

Can you see how 9/17 of the students are juniors and 8/17 are seniors?

8/17 = .470588
so 47.1% are seniors
