no estimation needed for y-intercept, let x=0 then y = 0

for x-intercept, let y = 0

-2x^5 + x^3 = 0

x^3(-2x^1 + 1) = 0

x = 0 or x^2 = 1/2

so x = ±1/√2

as x ---> +big, y ---> - big

as x ---> - big, y ---> +big
