Homework Help: Math

I don't get what the problem is asking?
"Which of the following shows the next step using the least common denominator simplify 7/8 - 5/6?"

there's 4 answers,
A. (7/8 x 3/3) - (5/6 x 4/4)
B. (7/8 x 4/4) - (5/6 x 3/3)
C. (7/8 x 5/5) - (5/6 x 7/7)
d. (7/8 x 7/7) - (5/6 x 5/5)

I don't get how this is using the least common denominator?
