Homework Help: Algebra

7. Johnny needs to save $24.00 to buy a new video game. Three weeks after saving, he has $6.00. After 6 weeks, he has $12.00. If Johnny continues to save at this rate, how many total weeks will he have saved money to reach his goal?

The answer I got was 12 weeks..is this correct? Thanks

24/2 = 12
