2) They find a very large piece of coarse cloth in his right coat pocket.
In his left coat pocket they find a very large silver chest with a cover of the same metal. they are unable to lift. Once they open it, they see it contains a kind of powder which makes them sneeze a lot.
3)Then they look into the giant’s right waistcoat-pocket. They find a prodigious bundle of white thin substances folded one over he other. 4) They are tied with a strong cable and marked with black figures. They think they are papers, because there seems to be writing on them.
5) Every letter was almost half as large as the palm of their hand.
6) In his left waistcoat-pocket they find a sort of engine with twenty long poles (pieces of metal) on it. They think it is the giant’s comb.
7) They don't ask him what it is because they find (?) it difficult to make him understand.
8) Out of his right fob hung (or hangs?) a great silver chain with a kind of engine at the bottom. He puts the engine to their ear and this makes an incessant noise like a watermill.
9) They think Gulliver carries the god he worships because he told them that he does nothing without consulting it.
10) The narrator is Gulliver. He does not interpret what he sees, he simply describes it.
11) Gulliver is impressed by their perfect organization and efficiency.
12) He is referred to as Great Man-Mountain.
