On a Works Cited page, If I have 2 articles, they don't give an author name but says by: Associated Press and CNN Wire Staff, do I put that in the author place or do I skip that and start with the title. Thanks in advance.

The author is Associated Press and CNN Wire Staff.

Thanks so much for your help. You are always great!!

You're welcome -- and thank YOU!

When creating a Works Cited page, the general rule is to include the name of the author or authors for each source. However, there are exceptions when the source lacks a specific author, such as articles credited to organizations like the Associated Press or CNN Wire Staff.

In this case, since the articles do not provide individual authors and are attributed to the Associated Press and CNN Wire Staff respectively, you should use those organizations as the authors in your Works Cited entry. Here's how you would format it:

Associated Press. "Title of the Article." Source of Publication, Date of Publication.
CNN Wire Staff. "Title of the Article." Source of Publication, Date of Publication.

Make sure to italicize the title of the article and capitalize all major words in it. Additionally, include the name of the source publication, which could be a newspaper, magazine, or website, and the date of publication.

It's worth noting that the specific formatting style you are using (such as MLA, APA, or Chicago) may have slightly different guidelines for citing sources without individual authors. Therefore, it's always recommended to consult the specific style guide for complete and accurate formatting instructions.
