First of all the verb "gustar" is the verb meaning "to be pleasing....." and therefore will always state to WHOM one thing IS pleasing or two + ARE pleasing. The question asks: Is Math class as pleasing to you as Spanish class? (freely translated: Do you like math class as much as Spanish class?) IF the answer is yes:
