3. How many books are there on the table?
There are a few books on the table.
4. How many oranges are there in the basket?
There are many oranges in the basket.
I see a basket of oranges.
I see a basketful of oranges.
(Would you check the expressions above?)
All looks fine! It's easy to substitute numbers for "many" or "a few" or any other general statement, if you need to.
