Homework Help: math-slope and y intercept

find the two ordered pairs of this equation.
y=5/3x+8

then give the slope and y intercept.

I know the slope is rise over run and is the y intercept 8?

Your Y-Intercept is 8. From there on the graph you'd go to Positve 8 and from there you'd either go 5 up and 3 to the right or 5 down and 3 to the left....Either one would give you points on a straight line.
