For my english research essay, I will need two print sources. I am doing the topic on Sadako (the girl from "A thousand Paper Cranes") The librarians at my school told me that they didn't have any books on her. Do you know of a reference/nonfiction book about Sadako, or an article (not online) about her? please let me know, any information would be gladly appreciated.

Check these sources for books and articles:

Also, try some of these sites.

I'm sorry to hear that your school library doesn't have any books on Sadako. In situations like this, there are a few steps you can take to find the print sources you need:

1. Local library: Check if there is a public library nearby. They may have a larger collection of books and resources, including ones on Sadako. You can use their catalog or ask a librarian for assistance in finding relevant print sources.

2. Interlibrary loan: If your local library doesn't have any books on Sadako, inquire about interlibrary loan services. This allows you to request books from other libraries that are part of the interlibrary loan network. Your librarian can help you with this process.

3. WorldCat: WorldCat is a large online catalog that includes holdings from libraries around the world. You can search for books on Sadako by using keywords like her name or "A Thousand Paper Cranes." WorldCat will show you which libraries have the book, and you can use that information to request it through interlibrary loan.

4. Google Scholar: While you asked for print sources, Google Scholar can be a helpful tool to find scholarly articles related to Sadako. Although many articles may only be available online, you can use the cited references or footnotes in those articles to potentially find print sources they have used.

5. Bookstores: Visit local bookstores or check their websites to see if they have any reference or nonfiction books on Sadako. Popular bookstores may have a section dedicated to biographies or history, which could include relevant titles.

Remember, it's always a good idea to consult with your teacher or school librarian for additional guidance and support in finding print sources for your research essay.
