is the value of 3 nickels and 4 dimes an even number of cents or an odd number of cents

A nickel equates to 5 cents, while a dime equates to 10 cents.
So 3x5= 15 and 4x10 = 40.
15+40= 45
45 is an odd number.

3 nickels: 3 * 5 = 0.15
4 dimes: 4 * 10 = 0.40
0.40 + 0.15 = ?
Is that answer odd or even?

The even numbers are 2, 4, 6, 8, 10
The odd numbers are 1, 3, 5, 7, 9
0.40 + 0.15 = 0.45
Are you sure that 0.45 ends with an even number?
