If one of the 1,129 people is randomly chosen, what is the probability that the person is a man or a heavy drinker? Round your answer to 3 decimal places.

My answer:

P(man or a heavy drinker) = P(man) + P(heavy drinker)

= (559/1129) + (37/1129)

= 596/1129

= .528
