A consultant traveled 9 hrs to a meeting. The return trip took only 8 hrs because the speed was 10 miles per hr faster. What was the consultants speed each way?

Distance = Speed * time

The distance is equal both ways. Let s = speed

9s = 8(s+10)

Solve for s and then s +10.
