3x-6y=72

**Damon**, Sunday, March 7, 2010 at 7:33pmThe y intercept is when x = 0

so for example

2x+3y=12

2*0 + 3y = 12

3 y = 12

y = 4 is the y intercept

For the x intercept, y = 0

2 x + 0 = 12

x = 6

You should be able to do the second one.
