Was not sure whether you got the last post. I am repeating it.

Is this a thesis statement. Please comment and can you advise me whether the grammar,spelling etc. Is good?
In this essay I am going to show you the impact of the Industrial revolution. By the end of the essay you will understand that life was different before the Revolution and after. You will know that not all the changes took place immediately, the changed occurred at different speeds. There are also areas that did not change

Can you rewrite that without the "I am going to..."

Thesis statements state what you are intending to prove, or demonstrate.

Thesis statements:
Chocolate candy is the best breakfast to send a child to school on.
Halloween is the devil's playground, and should be abolished.
Ordinary citizens benefited economically, politically, and socially from the revolution.
Man's best friend is a dog
A girl's best friend is her sister.

Then the thesis is followed by evidence, and argument that supports the thesis, so by the conclusion, you have stated your case, and proved your thesis.
