I am confused by this problem.

Solve: Clear fractions or decimal first.

7/3x-1/3x=3x+24/3-1/3+7/3x.

I know that I need to gather all terms first.

My answer that I came up with was: -23/17. I'm sure that answer is wrong.

Can someone please help?

Thanks.
