What could you do to eliminate racial prejudice and stereotypes and reduce their damage?

How does this sound for this question?

About the only way I can think of helping stop some of the racism and stereotyping is to educate people mainly our children about other cultures and how they live and talk and dress. Children are our future and if they have more of a knowledge about the others around them, they may beable to curb the racism. I don't think that it will be possible to stop all racism and stereotyping. We can also learn a lot about other cultures with watching the History Channel with our children, or even let them watch the cartoons such as Dora and Ki-lan, that teaches them the language as well as a little on how Mexicans and Chinese live.

The more contact children have with children from other cultures, the less stereotyping and racism is to play a part in their lives.
