which Cells do not divide???

There are two types of cells that do not divide: permanent cells and post-mitotic cells.

1. Permanent cells: These are cells that have exited the cell cycle and no longer divide. They are terminally differentiated and have reached their final functional state. Examples of permanent cells include nerve cells (neurons) and muscle cells (cardiomyocytes).

2. Post-mitotic cells: These are cells that have entered a non-dividing phase but can potentially re-enter the cell cycle if needed. They are in a state of temporary quiescence. An example of a post-mitotic cell is an adult liver cell (hepatocyte), which can regenerate and divide in response to injury or loss of tissue mass.

To determine if a specific cell type does not divide, you can perform research or consult scientific literature. Cell biologists often study the proliferation capacity of various cell types using experiments such as cell culture, cell tracking, and molecular markers that indicate cell division.
