Calculate the molality of methanol in a solution prepared by dissolving 75.0 mL of methanol, CH3OH (d = 0.791 g/mL), in 150 g of ethanol, C2H5OH.

    My calculation
    0.791g/ml x 75ml /46 g/mol = 1.29M
    1.29M /0.15KG
    x= 0.116M

  • Chemistry - ,

    75mL*.791g/mL= 59.325g

    59.325g/32g/mol=1.854moles

    1.854moles/.150kg=12.36m
