What is the purpose of this essay? How can you tell? - Second part

how can I tell? - I can tell by, well this essay talks only about puns, there are a variety of different types of puns in here.

Ms. Sue I want to take the well out of my answer, but if I do then it doesn't really make sense, how can I make it make sense, thanks

I can tell by the fact that this essay talks only about puns. Nearly every sentence contains one or more puns.
