Give two reasons why a person should not consume a heavy meal immediately before an exercise routine?

    After you eat, blood flow is redirected to the digestive system, which helps digestion. However, if you eat and then exercise, blood flow will instead to routed to your muscles, depriving your digestive of what it needs in order to do its job.
