This all looks good -- but I'm not sure about education as an economic advance. How about the almost continuous rise in stock prices?
The reason I listed education as an economic change or advance was because as the industry grew so did the earnings of American workers also rose. More families could afford to send their children to school instead of sending them to textile mills and other factories. As a result high school and college enrollment increased.
That's true. I also think that the number of women attending college increased -- although I don't have the percentages. Good reasoning.
