a sixsided cube is rolled. find the probability of P(4)
i think it is 4/6 or 2/3

No that is wrong. The probability when rolling a 6 sided cube and landing on one number is what you are trying to figure out. Since you role a cube, you only have the ability to land on one number at a time. The question is what is the probability of landing on a 4...So... try once more

math makeeda, Friday, January 29, 2010 at 9:03pm
so is it 1/4

math Damon, Friday, January 29, 2010 at 9:09pm
There are 6 sides, not 4

math makeeda, Friday, January 29, 2010 at 9:15pm
so it 1/5 =0.222

Makeeda, I don't know what kind of game you're playing. But no matter how much we try to help you, you don't seem to understand.
Do you understand the question?
math Damon, Friday, January 29, 2010 at 9:20pm
You have six equally possible results.
One of them is correct.
In other words one out of six.

Here's a picture of a number cube. It has six sides. On each side is a number either 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6.
