Choice theory is well-defined in many articles. However, sociological theory very broad and can't be easily compared with choice theory. Please study your text carefully, especially for sociological theory.

Essentially, choice theory puts the responsibility for all behavior on the individual. Sociological theory puts more responsibility upon the person's family and society.
