The Kings are beating the Rockets 65-43. The Kinds have scored 36 times and have no three-point baskets. How many two point baskets and how many free throws (one point) have they made?

Forget about the Rocket's score.
Let x = # of two-point baskets
Ley y = # of free throws

x + y = 36
2x + y = 65 (number of points scored)

x = (65 - 36) = 29
y = ___
