Jacqueline was one-third as young as her grandmother 15 years ago. If the sum of their ages is 110, how old is Jacqueline's grandmother?

grandma -- 3x

now
Jac --- x+15
grandma -- 3x + 15

x+15 + 3x+15 = 110

solve for x, then sub into 30+15
