Yes..thanks. I did that, but now I'm stuck, for some reason, on how to write what the rule for the function would be.
The question asked:
A freezer's temperature is decreasing at a rate of 5 degrees per hour. When the temperature was first measured, it was 50 degrees.
Make a T chart to show the x/y values for all hours shown. (which I did). Then write a linear function that describes the relationship between the temp. and the time. That's the part I'm stuck on. Can you help me with this part?
y=50-5x
x(1)=50-5(1)=45
x(2)=50-5(2)=40
try doing the rest
