I need to know how to write an equation for the horizontal line with the points of ( -2, -5). I understand that it should be written as y=k. So would it be, y=-2x-5 or would it be
y=-5? Where do you find k?
1 answer
There is no x in the equation because the line is horizontal. The y value does not vary with x.
