In most biology experiments, the relationship between the independent and the dependent variable can best be described as cause and effect,” true or false? Explain.

That is what we try to find out in an experiment. Does changing the independent variable cause changes in the dependent variable? If this includes potential cause and potential effect, I would say true. (In some experiments, the independent variable does not effect the dependent variable.)

    I hope this helps.
