Few of uswant to do schoolwork. Unfortunately, learning anything new requires a great deal of effort. The only time learning comes really easy is when you just rehashing previously learned information.
For me, if I can realize how I can personally use the information, I become more motivated to learn the material.

Try looking at what you want to get done and make a checklist so that you can keep track of what you want to so, and what's already done. In between things take little breaks. Soon the breaks will get shorter & shorter, and then you can just crank it out.
