Question

'Design a set for a TV show based on "When I Lay My Burden Down" by Maya Angelou. Draw a few color sketches to show how you visualize the store, inside and outside, including the yard.'

Need help with this..what should I draw?

I have no idea since I haven't read this. When YOU read it, what images come into your mind.

Whenever you read something -- story, poem, etc. -- images should be going through your mind like a movie.

If you don't know, then you need to read it again -- until you have at least one clear image in your mind. Then you will have something to draw.
