2x + 4 / 10x^2 + 24x + 8

**Reiny**, Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at 7:56pmYou probably meant

(2x + 4) /(10x^2 + 24x + 8)

If so, then

= 2(x+2)/[2(x+2)(5x+2)]

= 1/(5x+2) , x not equal to -2
