A soccer ball is kicked with an initial speed of 12.2 m/s. After 0.497 s it is at its highest point. What was its initial direction of motion?

    a=-9.8= acceleration due to gravity.
    to calculate the vertical component of the initial velocity.

    The angle with the horizontal is then asin(v/12.2).
