What is a good example of (PR) Public Relations?
Good examples of PR:
Giving the customer better service than he expects.
A few years ago my husband was quite ill and could barely move. We'd ordered new glasses for him and when we went to pick them up, the technician came out to the car on a cold wintery day, fitted them to his face, returned to the store to further adjust them, and returned them to him -- all the while that he stayed seated in the car.
My local grocery store has quite devoted customers -- largely because of extra service. They employ friendly carryout people who are always helpful. Many of these people are mentally challenged and extraordinary workers.
Years ago, Marshall Field's, the Chicago-based department store had the motto: "Give the lady what she wants."
