The immigrants had an overwhelming effect on Canada. Canada had barely enough room for the immigrants to live in. Shelter was impossible to find in the starting.
Where did you get that information?
Canada is a huge country and still has a sparse population in most areas.
I meant that canada hadn't known that such a big population of immigrants weould arrive, so they hadn't organized everything out yet, there wasn't enough shelter to provide the immigrants with.
As I asked before -- where did you get that information?
I just randomly thought about it, I don't think that the immigrants brought in a good effect on Canada as they entered.
