How would I work this problem

-6x>1/3

1/3 = .3333

for -6x to be greater than .3333 then -6 multiplied by x needs to equal more than .3333

since two negatives make a positive x would have to be a negative digit. A variety of numbers work

I'm confused

I'm sorry, I will leave the answer to a regular tutor. I was only trying to help

Thanks anyways

-6x>1/3

divide both sides by -6

x < -1/18

remember, when multiplying or dividing by a negative, the inequality sign has to be reversed.

so then solution set would be {x|x<-1/18}

correct
