Which is the better buy:
Brand A with a regular price of $15.98and a 30% discount
or
Brand B with a regular price of $18.50and a 40% discount

You can figure these out
CostA=.70*15.98
CostB.60*18.50 
just do the price,
in BRAND A's case 15.98
times the discount 30%...move the decimal back two places...turns into .30
15.98 X .30 = your answer 
That is the discount, not the price. See my post.
