Homework Help: Physics

Posted by Jill on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 4:35pm.

I have a problem where I've solved a and b. I need to solve c.
It's a centripetal force problem.
So far I have.
v(speed)=2.5pi
R(radius)=3.5
m(mass)=2
t(time)=2.8
Ac (centripetal acceleration)=17.62

How would I find tension?
(Hint: The tension provides Fc) Fc is centripetal force or net force.
How would I figure this out?
