# Homework Help: algebra

Solve each equation. Then write your answers in the cirles so that the differences between any two circles connected by a straight line are the same.

a)w+5=7.4
b)e-2=2.5
c)12+r=22.5
d)m+5=15
e)14-y=5.6
f)t-6=4.2
g)13-q=0.9
h)7+c=15.1

a) w + 5 = 7.4

Subtract 5 from both sides.

w = 2.4

b) e - 2 = 2.5

Add 2 to both sides.

e = 4.5

Use similar procedures for the remaining problems.
