what number would it be?
question:
If I have 500 pearls in my bag, and I ask you to take a number of pearls that when subtracted by 1 will be divisable by the numbers from 2 to 7 excluding 4, then how many pearls will be left in the bag?

I get 289.
x-1 must have factors of 2,3,5, and 7
(I excluded 6, since any number divisible by 2 and 3 is also divisible by 6)
so x-1 = 2*3*5*7 = 210
x = 211
so 211 was taken out of the bag of 500 pearls leaving 289
