    Mrs. Sue are you a actual teacher

  • Mathmatics - Ms. Sue, Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 7:12pm

  • Mathmatics - Ashley, Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 7:18pm

    oksy then but this stuff is hard though and what kind of actual teacher are you

  • Mathmatics - Ms. Sue, Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 7:23pm

    We've shown you how to do several problems. If you still don't understand how to do them, go back to your book and read the explanations your book gives. If you're still having trouble, make an appointment with your teacher and ask him/her to show you again.

    I taught middle and high school for 32 years and have been a volunteer tutor for the last 12 years.

  • Mathmatics - Ashley, Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 8:12pm

    thank you

  • Mathmatics - Ashley, Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 8:15pm

    i got 7z but now do i put the 7z on the side with the -43 or the side with the 80

  • Mathmatics - Ms. Sue, Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 8:18pm

    It's not 7z. You need to subtract 2z from both sides of the equation.

    5z-43=2z+80
    5z - 2z = 43 + 80
    3z = 123
    z = ?

  • Mathmatics - Ashley, Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 8:28pm

    z=41

  • Mathmatics - Ms. Sue, Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 8:30pm

    Right.

    Now you see how to do these problems, I'm sure you can do the rest of the problems independently.

  • Mathmatics - Ashley, Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 8:34pm
