how do i solve 5x-14less than or greater to 2x+7

    Here are the steps:
    5x-14<2x+7 add 14
    5x<2x+21 subtract 2x
    3x<21 divide by 3
    x<7
    you just need to make sure that what ever you do to one side you do to the other
