The length of a median of a triangle is 36 units. Describe the location of the centroid on that median using fractions.

  • geometry - Reiny, Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at 10:02am

The centroid divides the median in the ratio of 1:2
So the median would be cut into 2 pieces of 12 units and 24 units.
