  If I am reading your problem right, which is -5/6x=-7/8 (5/6)=-7/8 (5(1/6))x=-7/8 (5/2.3)x=-7/8 5x/2.3=-7/8 4.5x=3.7 20x=-21 20x/20=-21/20 x=-21/20

  yea its supposed to be where the line - is between the numbers one on top and one on bottom so is it the same answer that way
