the goal is to get "g" by itself on one side. In order to do this you would take 11 and subtract it from the side it is on, then do the same to the other side of the equation. So 16-11= 5. So the new equation is g=5.
Is it (g+11)/2 = 16 or
is it g/2 + 11 = 16
If the first, then
g+11 = 32
g = 21
if the second, then
g/2 = 5
g = 10
