Check whether the ordered pair is a solution to the equation x =3/4; (1/2, 3/4). Please show me step by step how you came up with this answer because I am really confused.

In any ordered pair, the first number is the x and the second number is the y.

So in your point (1/2,3/4)

x = 1/2

but your equation says x = 3/4 !

so, does our value satisfy the equation ?
